It announced continued growth in all key areas.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/pipltd.ie\/personal-insolvency-arrangement\/\">Personal Insolvency Arrangements<\/a> (the solution designed to\u00c2\u00a0keep people in their family homes) are the most popular solution.<\/p>\n<p>The report tells us that there is:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Continued growth in new applications, protective certificates and approved arrangements<\/li>\n<li>New applications for<a href=\"https:\/\/pipltd.ie\/personal-insolvency-arrangement\/\"> PIAs<\/a> (the solution designed to keep people in their family home) up<br \/>\n26%<\/li>\n<li>Bankruptcy numbers falling<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Since the ISI opened they have helped over 3000 people,\u00c2\u00a01,009 PIA, 379 DSA, 669 DRN, 1,096 bankruptcy and have dealt\u00c2\u00a0with debt of almost \u00e2\u201a\u00ac5 billion.<\/p>\n<p>A copy of the ISI\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Q1 Statistical Report for 2016 is available for download <a href=\"http:\/\/www.isi.gov.ie\/en\/ISI\/ISI_Statistics_2016_Quarter_1.pdf\/Files\/ISI_Statistics_2016_Quarter_1.pdf\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Commenting on the statistical report, Mr. Lorcan O\u00e2\u20ac\u2122Connor, Director of the ISI, noted that \u00e2\u20ac\u0153the 26%\u00c2\u00a0growth in PIA applications is likely due to the newly introduced Court Review process, sometimes\u00c2\u00a0referred to as the removal of the \u00e2\u20ac\u0153bank veto\u00e2\u20ac\u009d.<br \/>\nMr. O\u00e2\u20ac\u2122Connor encouraged anyone with serious debt issues to consult a Personal Insolvency<br \/>\nPractitioner.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On the 19th April the Insolvency Service of Ireland published\u00c2\u00a0their quarter 1 statistical report for 2016.
